Hometown Heroes is small on purpose. We are not a charity and we are not clinicians. We are a game studio with a community full of people who served, and we do one thing: help someone find the door they are looking for.
Who that covers: combat veterans and people who never deployed. Career soldiers and people whose service ended early. Those with VA coverage and those who never qualified for it — entry-level separations, uncharacterized discharges, general discharges, other-than-honorable discharges, Guard service that never triggered eligibility.
Some of those people get plenty of support and some get none at all.
Where the line is.
We are not able to help where service ended in a dishonorable discharge or a bad conduct discharge.
If you are not sure what your discharge was, write to us anyway.
You don't need to explain yourself or prove anything. One message is enough. Someone reads every one.

Record 30 to 45 seconds about someone who held you up when it counted, and what they did. A few of these will appear in the single player campaign of Sins of the Broken, in the finished game, in your own words.
The people this campaign exists for usually get talked about rather than listened to. This is somewhere to say it out loud.
